Birds are very popular pets due to their high level of intelligence and beauty.  Their medical needs are very different than their mammal friends.  They often require special handling and diagnostics, which we are able to provide here at Bonnie Brae.  Our avian exams are a minimal of 30 minutes long to provide the time needed to properly evaluate your bird and answer any questions you may have concerning their care and well-being. 

Dr. Mitchell has been working with birds since she began practicing and is a member of the Association of Avian Veterinarians.  She encourages yearly wellness exams to make sure your pet bird stays healthy and has a happy, long, life.
